This primary agricultural cooperative, founded in 1949, is dedicated to the production and marketing of olive oil and table olives, and to receiving its members’ grapes for wines covered by the Montilla-Moriles Protected Designation of Origin.
Today it brings together more than 1,500 farmer members from Lucena, Monturque, Aguilar de la Frontera, Moriles, Cabra and Rute, managing more than 12,000 hectares of olive groves, predominantly traditional groves. This agricultural heritage comprises more than 1,200,000 olive trees, mostly cultivated under integrated management systems ensuring quality, traceability and sustainability.
The cooperative has its own extra virgin olive oil brands, produced mainly from Hojiblanca, also known as Lucentina, and marketed as LUCENTINA and Vital Heart, reflecting its commitment to excellence and the territory’s identity.
Mission
To add value to members’ olives, grapes and oil by processing them to the highest quality standards, sustainably and responsibly, while providing the resources, services and supplies growers need to achieve maximum profitability for their produce.
Vision
