Cortijo La Toquera dates from the seventeenth century and lies in the municipality of Rute, in the southern Córdoba Subbética, where some of the world’s finest olive oils are produced. The family continues to cultivate the centuries-old olive trees inherited from its ancestors, using the knowledge and expertise passed down through generations. The result is an entirely natural Extra Virgin Olive Oil made from olives harvested just as they begin to change colour, and cold-extracted to preserve the polyphenols and aromas that make it unique and unmistakable.
